He has deep industry expertise on Cisco, Avaya, IBM, Polycom, LifeSize, StarLeaf and competitor – UCC solutions.
He is experienced selling cloud & premise based solutions including: multi-channel contact center, managed interoperable video systems, hosted business video and telemedicine (health presence), mobility, software as a service (SaaS), and networking to Enterprise & Gov Ed accounts.
With sixteen years of management experience; he has been successful in building revenues from launch to run rates over $54M.
An innovator and industry thought leader in strategy formation, identifying emerging opportunities, capturing new markets, executing business turnarounds, acquisition targeting and due diligence.
An entrepreneur – he successfully raised $3.5M in capital to start a network integration services company in 1998 – after serving eleven years as the Director of Systems & Network Integration Group of an INC. 500 global leasing company.
In early 2000 – while at Science Applications International Inc. (SAIC) – as AVP of Business Development, he pioneered selling Cisco’s IP telephony and unified communications services – developing, launching and selling an architectural to Day 2 support service tiered thru Ingram Micro. The service generated the largest Cisco IP telephony opportunity sold by a VAR on the West Coast in 2001.
For three years at IBM Global Services – as UCC Services Sales Leader, he managed key accounts including State Farm Insurance, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Kaiser Permanente and Rio Tinto Industries.
Since 1984, he has contributed to over $500M in revenue generation.
He has presented to numerous organizations, companies and at industry events – including Microsoft’s Partner Conference, Government and Business, Education & Technology Expo, Orange County Business Forum and Howard University – Business School, MBA program on marketing, Service Networks/ISPCON and WebRTC Conference & Expo 2013.
He attended the University of Illinois and Columbia Univ. – Executive Education, Leadership & Management Program.
